Part of the fun of the next Final Fantasy VII remake of Square Enix is to see the characters we fell in love with 23 years ago redone in breathtaking high definition.
This is true for band members and support characters, but it is also true for the various bosses you meet throughout the game.
Square just tweeted a short video, showing one of the classic boss fights from the original Final Fantasy VII. Find out below.

Fans of the original Final Fantasy VII should have no problem identifying the boss of the flying robot, but they might not know his name unless they have the old strategy guide.
It was none other than Heli Ginner, a boss in the Midgar part of the game. This enemy was level 19 and had 1000 HP. It was weak against lightning and winds, but strong against the Earth. Heli Gunner was immune to sleep, return, confusion, silence, darkness, transformation, stopping, berserk, poison, paralysis, stone, slow stone, manipulation and death.

In the original game, defeating this boss earned you 250 Gil and 250 EXP.
His attacks, which can be frustrating, are AB Cannon and Spinning Body Blow.
Heli Gunner was the second part of a two-part boss fight that took place on the glass elevators of the Shinra building. Immediately after defeating the previous boss, Hundred Gunner, the Heli Gunner falls into the frame and begins to fight. There is neither rest nor possibility of healing between the two battles.
